Coronavirus Updates & Resources

In order to remain proactive in our response to concerned parties about how our plans are evolving in light of the emerging public health concerns posed by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we offer this page as a resource. IPEC is closely monitoring updates from the World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention regarding the situation in communities where cases of the virus have been confirmed.

Vaccination

IPEC will require all in-person conference participants to be vaccinated in order to attend IPEC events. For more details, read more about IPEC's event policies.

District of Columbia Mask Protocol

MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED for everyone in indoor public places. Due to rising COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations, DC recommends everyone ages 2 years and older should properly wear a well-fitting mask indoors in public in areas where the COVID-19 Community Level is high, regardless of vaccination status.

MASKS ARE RECOMMENDED for everyone who is not fully vaccinated in indoor public places. People who are not fully vaccinated should wear masks in indoor public places and/or socially distance from others.
