SymposiumThe IPEC Symposium is a new signature offering open to IPEC member schools and non-members. This one-day, high-impact learning event brings together interprofessional educators, practitioners, researchers, and students to explore timely and emerging topics in interprofessional education for collaborative practice (IPECP). Each Symposium centers on a specific theme and features national thought leaders, interactive learning sessions, and opportunities for cross-professional dialogue and networking. The program is designed to spark new ideas, foster meaningful collaborations, and advance the integration of IPEC Core Competencies into education and practice. The inaugural IPEC Symposium will take place on Thursday, November 13, 2025, with future events planned annually. Target Audience
Team Composition (If Applicable)Please note that it is not necessary to register as a team. Individual participants will also be accepted into the program. The following conditions for interprofessional teams are highly encouraged, but not required (individual members may fit more than one category):
*If your institution is associated with a healthcare service facility such as a VA, local community health center, or affiliated medical center, or a partner organization, such as a local health department or community-based agency, please strongly consider adding a representative from that facility to your team. The Symposium experience is enriched through pre-event readings and materials, live interactive programming, and post-event access to curated resources.The Institute will provide opportunities to interact with colleagues, speakers, and IPEC staff in information sharing and networking, including virtual poster presentation sessions that will occur during post-Institute sessions. Pre-course readings and asynchronous modules will provide context and stimulate questions for exploration during the synchronous sessions. Evaluations will serve to check on learning and reactions for continuous quality programming enhancement. |
