How to Join IPEC

IPEC welcome's the involvement and the membership of associations who share IPEC's commitment and vision and support our mission to promote and encourage interprofessional learning experiences to help prepare future health professionals for enhanced team-based care of patients and improved population health outcomes.

Organizational members are entities that:

• represent and serve academic units at institutions of higher education that provide an educational program leading to the award of one or more academic degrees to students in a health profession that provides direct care to patients;
• are incorporated and are recognized by the IRS as having 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(6) tax exempt status; and
• are supportive of IPEC's mission.

How to Apply

The application cycle for 2025 organizational membership is closed. The 2026 applications will open on June 2, 2025.

Membership Cycle

Annual membership is based on a calendar year, January 1 through December 31.

Important Dates for 2026 Institutional Membership

• Monday, June 2, 2025: Applications open online at 12:00 P.M. ET.
• Friday, October 3, 2025: Applications must be received by 8:00 P.M. ET.
• Monday, December 1, 2025: Applicants will be notified of membership status.
