IPECP IDEAS: Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Advocacy StoriesFebruary 1, 3, 8, and 10About the InstituteThe February 2022 IPEC Institute is an advanced "201-level" program for those trying to sustain or strengthen their interprofessional education for collaborative practice (IPECP) programs while increasing faculty readiness and student preparation around inclusion, diversity, health equity and advocacy. The interactive Institute program is designed for interprofessional teams but individual participants have attended successfully, if they have the proper background and preparation to develop an appropriate project. All registrants will need to provide details of their IPECP project, such as title, objectives, description and status. Target Audience
Team Composition (If Applicable)Please note that it is not necessary to register as a team. Individual participants will also be accepted into the program. The following roles for members of interprofessional teams are highly encouraged, but not required:

The synchronous schedule will use the theory burst approach that builds learning to allow participants to depart with progress towards achieving their desired project. FormatThe core content of the program will be delivered by nationally-recognized subject matter experts who will offer pre-recorded video modules for viewing asychronously in advance of the institute, followed by live, synchronous learning sessions to engage directly with the participants.The asynchronous sessions will be available to you about three weeks before the live sessions. You will have both asynchronous and synchronous opportunities for peer-to-peer sharing about exemplar experiences and products, as well other cohort collaboration provide for networking and professional growth. Am I an IPEC member?You are an IPEC member if your school/ college/ institution is a member of one of the 21 IPEC member associations. For example, your College of Social Work is a member of the Council on Social Work Education. If you are an IPEC member, please make sure to choose "Institutional" as your "Member Type." Otherwise, the form will not reflect your correct pricing. Registration FeesTo encourage broad participation, IPEC is offering a tiered fee structure with lower registration fees for participants from upper-middle-income countries, lower-middle-income countries and low-income countries, and students/residents. Continuing Education Credits Continuing education credits (CE) are only given to attendees that successfully attend and evaluate an entire program session(s). IPEC Institute session evaluations are electronic. After the Institute, you will receive an email with a link to the evaluation system. Click on that link to evaluate each session you attended. After you have completed the session evaluations, you will be able to immediately print your CE Certificate. IMPORTANT NOTE: IPEC is looking to offer CEs to other disciplines. Please stay tuned for additional updates. Public HealthEligible attendees may receive Certified in Public Health (CPH) continuing education credits for participating in this Institute. The Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health works with the National Board of Public Health Examiners to provide CPH credits. NursingEligible attendees may receive continuing nursing education (CNE) hours for participating and evaluating this Institute. The American Association of Colleges of Nursing is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. DentistryEligible attendees may receive continuing dental education (CDE) hours for participating and evaluating this Institute. This continuing education activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the standards of the ADA Continuing Education Recognition Program (ADA CERP) through joint efforts between the American Dental Education Association and the Interprofessional Education Collaborative. Social WorkThe Council on Social Work Eduation (CSWE) (ACE Approval #1163) is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. CSWE maintains responsibility for the program. The ASWB approval period is 1/23/2021–1/23/2024. Social workers should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval for CEs. |
